AMINETOU HAIDAR, PREMIO NOBEL DE LA PAZ 2010 - 2010 PEACE NOBEL PRIZE

En otoño de 2010, la Fundación Nobel decidirá el Premio Nobel de la Paz. Hasta ese momento aparecerán diferentes candidatos y sus causas.

Aminetou representa más claramente que nadie la causa del Pueblo Saharaui, un conflicto olvidado por el resto del mundo en el que cientos de miles de personas viven desde hace 35 años en campamentos de refugiados o sometidos a la más bestial de las represiones políticas en su propio País, invadido por Marruecos en 1975.

Las Naciones Unidas exigen la celebración de un referéndum de autodeterminación, en el que los ciudadanos y ciudadanas del Sahara Occidental expresen su opinión sobre el futuro de su patria. Pero ningún Estado da paso alguno para restaurar la legalidad internacional. Especialmente España, que debiera de asumir su papel de potencia administradora y, hasta este momento, ha olvidado todos y cada uno de sus compromisos con el Pueblo Saharaui.

Con la candidatura de Aminetou a Premio Nobel de la Paz 2010, estaremos centrando la atención del mundo no sólo en la lucha de esta mujer que se la considera ya "la Gandhi saharaui" sino en el derecho de un pueblo a vivir en paz en su propio País: el Sahara Occidental.

In autumn of 2010, the Nobel Foundation will decide the Peace Nobel Prize. Up to this moment different candidates and his causes will appear. Aminetou represents the reason of the Western Sahara People, a conflict forgotten by the rest of the world in which thousands of persons live for 35 years in refugee camps or submitted to the political repressions in his Country, invaded by Morocco in 1975.

United Nations demand the celebration of a referendum of self-determination, in which the Western Sahara citizens express their opinion about the future of their Country. But no State gives any step to restore the international legality.

With the candidacy of Aminetou to 2010 Peace Nobel Prize, we will be centring the attention of the world not only on the fight of this woman who considers it to be already " the Saharan Gandhi " but in the right of a people to live in peace in his own Country: the Western Sahara.
